OWphotos Entrance:

Hello and welcome:

Hello and welcome to Oh Well Photos. (Or 'OW' for short). This is a new blog that holds my view of the drifting community and motorsport that I follow. This blog is made for the people that are major participants of the drifting lunacy already. It is also made for those that are interested and attracted by the smoke, speed, angle and indulgent colours of the drifting motorsport.

My name is John (also known as Random) and I am a keen enthusiast of automotive photography. I have an amateur knowledge of Digital Photography but a strong passion for the insane motorsport that is drifting. I have taken many pictures good and bad, albeit some dreadful ones too. I have received a lot of feedback from the crowds who help me as I am still improving my skills after each event.

I have placed my feet firmly on the tarmac for 2 years now. I feel that I am more than capable to represent myself and be a worthwhile part of the Drift community and culture. So I am to conclude this post with a very warm welcome, and I also thank you very much for reading and browsing through the OW blog. Here is to many more posts. Cheers.

FORZA 4....

Hey guys, so with the Forza franchise well into its 4th edition since October 2011. I have had the immense pleasure playing with the new physics, game modes and action that is available.

I am just 2 months in and ive already racked up some stats, such as:
I have entered 300+ races,
I have won 160 of them,
There are 86 cars in my garage, where a third of them are DRIFT cars,
My garage is worth over 37 million credits
I have driven for 24 hours so far,
I have driven over 1.5 thousand miles,
& i currently have 2 million credits in my bank.
Now i understand these stats are nothing special and ive got loads of driving/drifting still do to but, i just thought i'd share my progression on the blog.

Ok so theres 2 MAIN points that i'd like to tell you guys about.
1) I am competing in a drift championship on Forza called, Forza British Drift Championship. Now i know the B.D.C. is a real life top level championship as i follow/attend as a tog to most of the events.

2) I have been asked to take more pictures of the whole championship as all the boys are supporting the blog and they will be on here checking themselves out through the whole season.

A little bit og history.
My 2010 F.BDC car on Forza 3.
Last year i was in a PS13 which was quite competitive against the other drivers. i also did alot of driving so i understand the track layouts of forza 4. here are some pics.

My 2011 F.BDC car on Forza 4.
This year after still playing with the PS13 and its old setup i thought i'd try an old enemy of mine the Spec-R Silvia S15. Last year this car had immense grip which for chasing the lead drift car was excellent but, it was also very hard to show style when entering the corners and it never hit my medium. The bods at Turn10 studios have corrected this problem and after testing it out with no alignment changes i found myself handling this car extremely well around the majority of the tracks.
Here are a few pics of the car in a progress blog style.
my first test day @ motegi with the 2011 F.BDC car. Bought it with an sr20 as the previous owner had already bought and sprayed a full kit, wheels, spoiler, exhaust.

testing out the origianl setup @ motegi, (the wand works lols)

first 2011 wall tap, fair bit of damage but no biggy. The right hand side was a tyre wall tap when i went off on the 2nd corner (just after the tunnel)

end of day 1 at the garage on repair duty. also starting the full transformation for competition season.

the 2011 F.BDC livery with all sponsors and relevent stickers.

full feature and spec to follow.

Aswell as 'OW!' we also have another blog in this championship called Millf Appreciation Society. The guys on there are Sean & Teddy and they are nuts when it comes to FULL Speed, FULL Circuit drifting. Along with JC and Kai these 4 cars tear it up on another level. if your ever on forza and if these guys are on, keep your speed up and your balls BIG because they never lift. so a big shout out goes to my friends over at milf and all the other drivers competing this year
